Grapes | Alkyóna Beach

It starts in the north-east of Thessaly, in the wine-growing region of Rapsani. The Tempy valley, where the river Pinios separates Mount Olympus and Kissavos, is one of the most attractive routes of Greece.

From here, the Wine Route of Mount Olympus is heading north to Pieria and crosses numerous archeological sites: Dion and its monuments stand out, as well as the fortress of Platamonas. Pieria is also well known for its wide beach and a popular holiday destination.
