Straw House Alikes

Beauty meets efficiency

Alikes is one of the two residential units in our extraordinary straw-bale house — the first of its kind, built in the light-flooded form of a solar house, a concept dating back to the philosopher Socrates. The fully glazed front lets the eye wander unobstructed across the sea, drawing light and openness directly into the house.

Early risers are rewarded: in the morning, Thessaloniki emerges on the horizon as the sun rises over the mirror-smooth water. A place where architecture and natural spectacle become one.
